Just a few months back, in September, Wilsonart announced that it was acquiring KML. Wilsonart has a tradition of celebrating with newly acquired companies over smoked meat and traditional BBQ side dishes.
In early November, Wilsonart International brought out their Pitmaster/Sales Manager, Steve Hubbard, to serve up some smoky BBQ goodness to KML and many of its vendors. Several high-ranking Wilsonart leaders were there serving guests and mingling with their new colleagues.
The Texas-based company got an appropriately rainy welcome to the Puget Sound. Thankfully, they came prepared with tents to shelter their custom-crafted Wilsonart smoker and to house hungry partygoers.
Barbecue is an apt metaphor for a Wilsonart and KML collaboration. Much like a perfectly balanced spice rub, Wilsonart and KML complement each other.
With KML, Wilsonart is improving its ability to offer and manufacture a full range of TFL products. And now, KML has the resources of a world-class company behind it to continue its TFL innovation.
